About this site: 2023 edition!

I've re-worked the site! Welcome to a brand new version of cityinspain.dev.

What's different?

• We're using Next.js now! It's easily become my favorite framework for designing just about anything web-based. This site was in Gatsby before, and while there wasn't anything wrong with it, I just couldn't resist the siren call of re-doing the site in Next. It's that much of a joy to develop with.
• Blog posts are in Sanity! Why? Because I could, and their free tier is that good. Previously, I was just writing my blog posts within Markdown. It's an insanely convenient way to write blog posts, so the fact that I've switched to Sanity for this version should really give you an idea as to how excellent of a CMS it is.
• We're on Vercel! There wasn't necessarily anything wrong with using Netlify, but I've started to branch out and build bigger projects using Vercel, and I thought it'd be good to just centralize.

Overall, none of these decisions were really made out of any sort of necessity. I just wanted to build something new with some technologies that I've really come to ❤️.
